Nikon SB-24 Flash for sale
For sale are two Nikon SB-24 Flash. I normally use it for off camera flash photography. It has manual power output from full power to 1/16. Motorised zoomhead coverage 24-85mm. Flash head can be tilted and swiveled. Cosmetically it isn't the best but everything still works. Going for $100 each or $190 for both.

What a night!! Nam and Christine's wedding
Alright, I'm back from Nam and Christine's wedding, writing up this entry while letting the computer back up the files.
What a night! Someone decided that a cake fight would be fun, and cake ended up everywhere, including the carpet. The venue manager was fuming!!! THAT'S NOT RIGHT, she yelled. Nam's face got cut by the flower on the cake while it is being thrown at him. I have photo proof of the culprit, will post it soon.
I feel blessed to photograph this wedding. During dinner, I was seated together with the bride and groom, which means the food get served first. I haven't review the photos yet but I think there are many good shots during dinner (which happened when I decide not to give way to the videographer anymore, after being blocked 92.5% of the time during the tea ceremony and in church.
OK, I'm really tired. Will post photos soon. All the best to you, Nam and Christine!!

WCC workshop : Cycles and Echos by David A Williams
Phew, what an inspiring night. David A Williams was invited as a speaker for Waverley Camera Club workshop night. Apart from the slight hiccup of the slideshow, it was a great night. David takes his photography seriously, but not himself. His jokes are outrageous and there's not a dull moment that night.
It gave me new insights into people photography, and I believe this will take my photography up another level. We'll see.

update on SB-600
During my previous photoshoot, Victor Augesteo from Monash Photography Club is kind enough to lend me his SB-900 and SB-600. Unfortunately, I dropped the SB-600 and it doesn't work anymore.
So, I sent it to Camera Clinic for a repair assessment. The quote fee was 49.50 and is redeemable towards the repair fee should I decide to go ahead with the repair. So today, they told me that I would need to pay an additional $105 to get it repaired. A new fresnel lens and xenon tube is required.
Let's hope for the best.

Nam and Christine pre-wedding photoshoot
What an eventful day. The forecast predicted rain but we're lucky enough to escape it. Everything started smoothly until a near traffic accident scared the shit out of me. What a close shave. The I dropped the SB-600 and it won't worked anymore :(.
Nevertheless, we still managed to get a few fantastic shots. Everyone was extremely tired by the end of the day (the 2nd part of the journey involves walking from King's Domain to Bourke St to Crown Casino back to King's Domain).
Here's a sneak preview:
