Rim Lighting effect

By placing the sun behind the object and turning on the fill flash, you will get rim lighting effect see the rim of light that outlines the object. Usually if the fill flash is not turned on, you will get a silhoutte instead (which I will try my hands on when I have the chance). But in this case, the front of the object is bright enough, so I didn't turned on my flash.
This effect works better if the object has magnificent hairstyle (like a fro).

Laundry

In Melbourne, there is a special technique to dry your clothes after washing them. You see, during the autumn/winter season, the sun rarely gets scorching enough.
Usually, people have a clothes dryer at home. But to a jobless engineering grad, it is just another burden.
Luckily there are lots of windy days during this season. So, I let the wind to "blow-dry" my clothes. Becareful if you are using this method. Winds are usually followed by rain, so at the sign of the first drop, rush to rescue your clothes.
Please don't be mistaken, the blurry image is not due to camera shake. If it is, the wooden fence would be blurry too isn't it. This is a photography technique called motion-blur. It is able to create a sense of movement in a photograph. This photo was shot at a shutter speed of 1/6 of a second. Can you feel the wind blowing?

Flowers

I read on some techniques to photograph flowers.
To create a greater impact, don't photograph flowers from the top, take it sideways or from under.

What do you think?

My back hurts after crouching in an awkward position to shoot from under the flower. Time for some apple juice from Starbucks.

Yes, you heard me right - Apple juice from Starbucks.
